Toby is a Patron of the Tiki Arts and he owns Khan Tiki Mon's very first carving.

Another shot of Brendan - definitely a Patron of the Tiki Arts.

My Australian friend Danielle is a Patron of the Tiki Arts and is totally rockin' the shirt at Hell's Kitchen in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Brendan is a Patron of the Tiki Arts. He enjoys a super delicious Tiki cocktail while making a statement in his Patron of the Tiki Arts T-shirt.

Sean is a Patron of the Tiki arts. At the Tiki Motor Inn in Lake George, New York.

Michelle is a Patron of the Tiki Arts as well as a top secret Guyanese rum connection (not so much a secret the more that it’s mentioned here on the site). Michelle is also the official model for the Patron of the Tiki Arts T-shirt. The candid photo above was snapped after one of the photo sessions.

Karen is “Number One” Patron of the Tiki Arts. Without Khan Tiki Mon’s Purple Wahine, Karen, there would be no Tiki for Khan Tiki Mon. The picture above is Karen amidst the lush tropical gardens at the Tiki mecca that is the Mai Kai in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

You can achieve your dream of Tiki patronage and get Khan Tiki Mon out of his cubicle hell via PayPal. Go to www.PayPal.com, log in, and click the send money tab. Send twenty dollars to scotttennant@verizon.net. Please include the size T-shirt you want, S-M-L-XL, and state how you want to be listed on the Wall of Fame. Once you have received your nifty T-shirt it is entirely appropriate to send me a photo of you wearing the T-shirt somewhere cool.

What do you get for your Tiki artist patronage?

Besides the obvious warm and fuzzy feeling that comes from unselfish philanthropy and the bragging rights for having supported an up and coming Tiki artist you get a nifty T-shirt that identifies you as the special patron that you are. But wait, there’s more. You get a 10% discount on any purchases. The original works of Khan Tiki Mon will be sold on E-Bay. Win an auction and take ten percent off the winning bid. As a patron you will receive e-mail notifications of auctions and previews of upcoming auctions. You are probably thinking that there couldn’t possibly be any more incredible benefits associated with being a Patron of the Tiki Arts and if that’s what you are thinking you would be wrong. Every Patron of the Tiki arts is also entitled to at least one free cocktail at Khan Tiki Mon’s Bar and Lounge. Shipping is not an option – beverage must be consumed on site. Lastly, your name will be ensconced on the Patron of the Tiki Arts Hall of Fame here on the website.

How do I get my coin into Khan Tiki Mon’s hands as quickly as possible?

As Europe emerged from the Dark Ages one shining example that led the way to the light was the artistic patronage afforded by the Medici. Now, you can become a modern day Medici as a Patron of the Tiki Arts. You will be providing light for these dark times. You can become a Patron of the Tiki Arts, like the Medici, by adopting a Tiki artist – that would be Khan Tiki Mon. Money raised through the Patron of the Tiki Arts program will be used for:

1.) art supplies – paints and canvas, chisels and wood for carving, clay for molding, etc.

2.) for the muse – which may or may not include tunes and rum (possibly large

            amounts of rum).

3.) travel – to events like the Hukilau and Festiki, as well as field trips to the South

           Seas of Oceania.

Patron of the Tiki Arts 2012

I am nearing retirement and I am anxious to escape the grips of the Evil Empire. I have prostituted my soul for the coin provided by the Evil Empire for far too long. I yearn to sever all ties with the soul crushing corporate world and allow creative expression to rejuvenate my damaged psyche. While scars on the soul may never fade perhaps with time the memories of the traumas will recede. If you are wondering if there is any way you can help speed Khan Tiki Mon on his path to Tiki salvation – the answer is yes. I am starting up a Patron of the Tiki Arts Program.
